Review: Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster sometimes also recorded as Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster, - an updated edition of computer role-playing games Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 with a picture of high definition. Initially, the games were released by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2 console in 2001 and 2003 respectively. This updated edition was developed by Square Enix and the Chinese studio Virtous for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platforms and was released on December 26, 2013 in Japan and in March 2014 in North America, Europe and Australia. In addition to the original content, the Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster included the contents of international versions of the games, as well as an additional Last Mission dungeon (with a game game in the style of roguelike games) and an audio play telling about events that occurred one year after the storyline was completed Final Fantasy X-2.

The reissued version included both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 - its sequel.  The plot of the first game unfolds around Tidus - a young man who is transferred to a fictional world called Spira after he came into contact with a monster known as Sin.  Tidus becomes one of the bodyguards of Yuna - "calling" which goes on a pilgrimage the ultimate goal of which is the victory over Sin.  As the story unfolds the player learns more about Sin as well as the father of Tidus Jacket who disappeared many years ago 7 8.  The combat system in the game is incremental but the player can change the characters involved in the battle.  Increasing the parameters of game characters and learning new abilities is done with the help of the Grid of Spheres where new tricks and improvements are gradually being made available 9.  The plot of the second game unfolds in the same world two years after the events of Final Fantasy X. The protagonist is Yuna who became a hunter for treasures;  she is looking for special spheres hoping that they will lead her to Tidus 10.  In this part the classic for the series character specialty system reappeared;  specialty can be changed by changing (including in the battle) "dress-spheres" - special suits which also raise certain characteristics 11.  In X-2 there are several mini-games in particular blitzball which originally appeared in Final Fantasy X.
